Commitment

DonaldFaulknor.com is intended to be usable by people with a wide range of visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological needs.

Target

The site aims to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for public pages and essential account workflows. This is an ongoing target, not a claim that every page and future feature has completed a formal conformance audit.

Current practices

  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and form controls.
  • Visible focus indicators and skip navigation.
  • Semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and table headers.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images when available.
  • Responsive layouts, zoom support, and reduced-motion consideration.
  • Color contrast and non-color indicators for important states.
  • Clear form instructions and error messages where implemented.

Known limitations

New tools, complex visualizations, older content, third-party embeds, or user-submitted material may introduce accessibility problems. Accessibility is reviewed during development, but defects may still occur.

Requesting help or reporting a barrier

Use the contact form and select a general or accessibility-related message. Include the page URL, the task you were trying to complete, the browser or assistive technology used if comfortable sharing it, and the format or accommodation that would help.

Response and improvement

Reported barriers will be reviewed in light of impact, technical feasibility, available resources, and whether an accessible alternative can be provided while a permanent improvement is developed.
