Purpose
Comments and member features exist to add context, questions, experience, correction, and constructive disagreement. They are not an entitlement to unlimited access to another person or audience.
Allowed participation
Readers may disagree strongly with Donald, another commenter, a source, a policy, or a proposed model. Criticism should address ideas, evidence, conduct, systems, or public claims rather than becoming targeted humiliation.
Prohibited conduct
- Threats, harassment, stalking, intimidation, or encouragement of harm.
- Doxxing or disclosure of private contact, financial, medical, account, location, family, or identifying information.
- Impersonation, fraud, scams, malware, credential theft, or deceptive links.
- Spam, repetitive promotion, automated mass posting, or comments generated only to manipulate visibility.
- Hate, dehumanization, or targeted abuse based on protected or deeply personal characteristics.
- Sexual exploitation, sexual content involving minors, or graphic content posted without a legitimate and clearly signaled purpose.
- Illegal content or instructions intended to facilitate wrongdoing.
- Attempts to evade moderation, create replacement accounts after a ban, or coordinate abuse.
Privacy and family boundaries
Do not identify or speculate about private family members, children, former partners, or other people discussed with aliases or generalized descriptions. Public interest in an article does not create a right to investigate private individuals.
Moderation actions
Actions may include a warning, editing for narrow privacy or safety reasons, holding a comment, requiring approval, limiting posting speed, closing a discussion, hiding or removing content, temporarily suspending an account, or permanently banning an account. Context, severity, repetition, risk, and prior conduct may affect the response.
Appeals
A member may request reconsideration through the contact form. Include the account email, affected comment or action, and a concise explanation. Repeated appeals that add no new information may be closed.
Donald’s participation
Donald may answer, feature, ignore, close, or leave a discussion. The absence of a response is not agreement, endorsement, or permission to continue contacting him elsewhere.
Limited self-promotion
One relevant website may be shared through the designated website field when it helps readers understand the commenter, their work, or the context of the comment. Repetitive promotion, affiliate funnels, deceptive destinations, unrelated links, malware, scams, and comments written mainly to obtain a backlink may be rejected or removed. Approval of a link does not mean Donald endorses the linked site.
Posting limits
A short cooldown, hourly limits, duplicate checks, and moderation may be used to reduce automated flooding and repetitive posting. Attempts to evade these controls may be treated as spam.
